The artwork “Composition in Red” seamlessly integrates principles from traditional Chinese calligraphy with the expressive energy of Western gestural painting. Crafted using both Western and Chinese ink on photographic paper, this piece invites viewers to appreciate the harmonious fusion of cultural influences.
This artwork was featured in a book by the renowned Sinologist and writer Prof. Wolfgang Kubin, published in 2023. The book includes 20 illustrations by Friedrich Zettl, who also designed the cover.
