"Burning down the Snow" is a captivating artwork that unites opposites that are mutually exclusive. It features a unique interplay between snow and fire, calmness and expressiveness, concreteness and abstraction. This artwork was created using ink and felt-tip pens on photographic paper[^1^][3].

It was also featured in a book published in 2022, which includes 31 poems written by Theodor Storm in both German and Chinese. Each poem is accompanied by an illustration by Friedrich Zettl, who also designed the cover.
