10,4x7,5 in ~ Zeichnungen, Tinte
"Hommage à Richter and Yamanobe" was created after visiting an exhibition by Gerhard Richter. Inspired by Richter's painting "Cloud" and its association with a graphic by Hideaki Yamanobe, this artwork serves as a tribute to both influential artists. Using ink on rice paper, the piece captures the essence of their styles while blending them into a unique expression. This homage not only showcases the artist's admiration for Richter and Yamanobe but also highlights the seamless integration of their influences into a singular, evocative work.
This image was published in 2022 in a book written in German and Chinese and containing 31 poems by Theodor Storm. Each poem features an illustration by Friedrich Zettl, who also created the cover.
